June 15... a day with Pony, Part 4

So, we are at the club, my gun is broke, and the guys are...




Um... standing around smoking? lol.

Oh wait, no, they are shooting.



or adjusting their scope. Then shooting.

I'm bored, so I go for a walk.

LOOK! The urinal on the side wall of the Taj Ma-potty.



It's a two seater. I have no idea why they made it a two seater because I don't know anyone who would actually go in there as a couple to use it, but it makes me laugh. Looks like the mice have been busy in there, it's usually a bit more tidy than this.



The "sink" for hand cleaning, lol.



It's actually pretty darn nice, for an outhouse! It's even wheel chair accessible!



Off behind the club house is a play ground.



We have some primitive camping areas, this is a stand over a fire pit for hanging a stew pot.



We have a decent fishing area there, too.







This boat has obviously been here for a while, the trees have grown around it, lol!!

They were tiny, like the size of my goat's tracks.

An Answer to Bubby....

How do you like using the French press compared to a regular coffee maker? Does the java taste any better/worse even at a comparable brew strength? Are they prejudice against decaf like the French? Are they made of win? If I use one, will I get super powers (even temporarily)? Have I asked enough questions about coffee and the devices used to produce it?

It's ok. Only makes about 2 cups of coffee and take a lot more grounds per cup to get as strong as i like and sometimes I get grounds in my cup, but I can make coffee without using electricity. It tastes ok, I guess with better coffee the flavor from a french press is much better than from a drip coffee maker but i buy the cheapest I can find so there isn't much there to work with.

All coffee pots should be prejudiced against decaf. It's an abomination.

They are not made of "win", per se, but they are not made of "lose" either.

If you use one you will not get super powers, however some latent super powers you were unaware you had may surface temporarily.

There is no such thing as "too many questions" about coffee and the devices used to produce it.

June 15... a day with Pony, Part 3

So, i was done with chores, had my coffee, and my meds (I really should eat something before I take my meds, lol).

I made a quick check on the gourds my friend Leah gave me...



I took a couple of pictures of a cart I am trying to trade for a goat (which I need to get back with that lady about!)



I ran the electric across the drive to Brego's pasture.



I made sure all the girls had a good drink of water.







Then Tsu and I headed out to the gun club.



This is the Taj Ma-potty. Fancy two seater outhouse. lol.



We headed back to the firingline.



I walked to the bridge to the island to see how high the water was.



This is the target shack. Tsu and his dad insulated it and put up the interior walls earlier this year.



Tsu got out targets put up.



The guys worked at getting their guns sighted in.



This is my little .22. Dad got it for me for my 13th birthday. I really wanted a pony, lol. But this little varmint gun has served me well...




Unfortunately when I was sighting it in when we adjusted the back part of the sight it fell into two pieces and my shooting was done for the day.



Tsu's .22 is a little more souped up than mine is.



Club president, Jim, was there shooting his blackpowder pistol.



as was one of the other guys from the club whose name I am drawing a complete blank on right now.
