I think I can wrap this up in this post, hehe.
OK so... where were we? Oh, yeah, we were on our way home. Welcome to beautiful downtown North Branch, lol.
We stopped at our local eatery, The Firehouse Cafe. So named because it is owned and usually frequented by members of the fire department. That riding mower out front? Not for mowing, it's transportation for one of the cafe's usual customers.
It's a tiny little place tucked between two buildings with three tables and a bar.
Fireman toad:
The old dude, headed home on his fancy conveyance:
We like eating at the Firehouse because 1) everyone there knows us and for some weird reason seems to like us and 2) you get a lot of food for cheap. Like I can make three meals out of one wet burrito.
As we headed home I broke a commandment by coveting my neighbors hay. That is like two years worth of hay for me. *makes grabby hands*
Headed back down our dirt road, driving past the cemetery:
Can't forget to check the mail!
The goats were glad to see us home.
Now back home it was time to do some laundry. The dogs decided to help.
Their colour sorting abilities leave much to be desired.
Now it was time to start stripping out the deep litter bedded stalls from over winter.

My garden is gonna love this.
I just have to spread it nice and thick. This is my gourd trellis.
Making more progress.
Mulch laid down nice and thick:
Now it is time for evening chores! The goats are the reverse of morning chores so i didn't take pictures of that. Brego is looking forward to getting back to the barn.
I had to refill the tank, and he just loves playing with the hose:
After spending some time at the boy's pen my day outside is over and it's time to crash on the couch and read. No pictures of that either, lol.
So that was my day, June 15, 2011.
