Another gall bladder attack. Not as bad as the one I had a while back that had Tsu wanting to take me to the ER but pretty bad and it lasted for HOURS and HOURS. I am still sore but not in an active attack any more. I ate like crap yesterday but not anything that should have set me off, so apparently now I just plain can't deviate from my normal diet without setting it off. yay. But you know what? The Coffee Crunch I had may just have been worth it. Yeah, I said "Coffee Crunch". Sounds weird but it was delicious.
My baby brother is getting married tomorrow. Tsu is best man. We had to go pick up his tux and it turned into a much longer trip than we expected because of idiot drivers and road construction. So we got back to town to late to come home and too early to go to the church for rehearsal. So we headed out to Past Tense Antiques to look at old stuff and get some munch. We bought two toffee flavored Coffee Crunch's, a giant cinnamon roll to eat today, and way too much fudge. Toffee and peanut butter chocolate. That Coffee Crunch is an iced coffee with crushed ice and hard toffee in it and it was DELICIOUS! Totally worth the calories and possibly even the gall bladder attack.
The rehearsal went great. My brother's airsoft team is going to be in the wedding too, at least some of the team. Those guys are a HOOT!
Anyway, the guys went out to a video game place for the bachelor party and mom and Wayne brought me home and dropped me off. The dogs and horses were TICKED because it was way past their dinner time. I don't feed them spot on every day just so that they are used to having a slight variation in feed times. So it doesn't stress them out so much they get belly aches but it does annoy the packing out of them. I ran around feeding everyone and the horses were talking to me, complaining the whole time. It was so cute.
They only got 4 hours out on grass yesterday, but today they can stay out until dark if they want to. Tomorrow they won't get any grass time at all, just the last few flakes of last years hay. Tsu is off this week, vacation, so we should be able to get that old table cleared off in the barn so I can list it on craigslist. yay for hay money!!!
Also, I think my laptop is dying. It needs more memory. It has, um, 1 gig of Dance Dance Revolution. lol. NOT Dance Dance Revolution 2, though. Lame joke. I guess my archaic machine uses DDR memory and all the spares we have are DDR2 which won't work. I need a new lap top but I am just plain not going to try and find money for one at this point. Hay and fencing is WAY higher priority.
Ugh. I need to try and sleep off the aftermath of this gall bladder attack.

I think she forgave me.

Schrody is being so sweet. She isn't happy about still being in a cage in the bathroom but she is being such a mushyfaced cuddlecat. The first day she was yowling, but I think she still had raging hormones. She has stopped fighting to get out, stopped yowling, and now just tries the "as cute as possible" thing to get out. I have been letting her out for a few minutes at a time while I clean the cage, then fill her dish and check her tummy. She has not been messing with her stitches which is good.
I was even able to deworm her with only a little drama. OK, she held a grudge for that one for about 8 hours, after trying to slit my wrists with her hind nails once I got the pill in her throat. But she is all over that now. The dewormer has made her poo stink to high heaven, though. Ugh. I have never smelled cat crap with a reek like this. It is literally eye watering. I'll be glad when she can go back outside. Just a few more days and the incision should be healed enough that I can kick her back outside.
MUSHYFACE!!!

She "air kneads" when she is enjoying the attention:

I moved the fence out back this morning, so the ponies are enjoying the nice grass out there:

Sparrow has almost lost all of his winter hair *sigh*, just in time for him to start growing it back in 5 or 6 weeks:

This was supposed to be a picture of his bum, it ended up being a picture of weeds, with a background of his bum, but I like it:

Mary is looking nice and glossy. Not looking any thinner, but looking nice and glossy!

The boys have been hanging out a lot lately, they do fine as long as Sparrow doesn't get in between Brego and Mary. That gets him chased off. But he is learning where he needs to stand to not get one or the other of the love birds annoyed with him:

I made sure the fence had plenty of electric running to it before putting them out back but I have still been kind of paranoid about it and checking on them every few minutes all day. They do NOT like being out there during their mid day siesta. Since Brego got here they have come to enjoy napping in the barn and they get pouty when they are away from their run in. They will survive, despite how put out they are acting about it, hehe.

HOT!!!!
OK, I know ya'll who live down south don't consider almost 90 hot, but up here that is like... broiling. The ponies have spent the last two days standing and sweating. So I've been hosing them down three times a day. Brego LOVES it. Mary tolerates it. Sparrow detests it. Of course with all that hair the heat seems to be rougher on Brego. But he will be appreciating all that hair come this winter, lol.
I've been in the pool every day this week. It's still cloudy but looking better.
Schrodinger the cat is coming home from the vet today. YES I found someone who would spay her even though she might have been bred after her great hole digging escape from the bathroom. She was NOT bred but was back in heat. Also totally infested with tape worms. *ew* They were one of the few places that would just spay her. I would love to be able to test her for every dang thing under the sun, get her UTD on every shot she needs, etc. But I can't. I didn't ask for this cat. I already have almost $200 into her from her stuck kitten, and she isn't even really MINE (I mean she is mine NOW, but I never wanted her... she just kind of arrived here and made herself my responsibility). I don't have $280 to spend getting her brought up to the point that a house cat should be. I wish i did, but I don't. So this $100 option is the best I can do for her and I am SOOO glad I found someone who would do this. It may not be ideal but at least she won't have any more kittens.
They did point out that one of her extra toes turns inward and has no pad on it and without being kept trimmed or being removed the nail could curl into her foot. Which I already knew because I already cut it out once while she was in the bathroom. I'll trim the nail once every few months, assuming she sticks around after this whole thing. I'm NOT paying to have that dang toe amputated!! They had a quote for me and everything. $185. *slaps forehead*
Anyway, I'm glad she is done, even if I resent having to spend the money. She is a good cat. She doesn't deserve to die just because I'm broke and where ever she came from was populated by morons. Plus she is pretty territorial and has been chasing all the other dropped off cats away. It's worth the money to me to keep her here if it keeps other cats away. I just hope she STAYS territorial after the spay. Plus she is rediscovering her hunting skills so she can go back to earning her keep, yay!

Hiding under our tractor back when she was too wild to get anywhere near:

So yay! No more kittens!!!!
